HDFC’s “Pitch for Business” selected Vaayu’s Agentic AI EV solution, and our team showcased it to senior leaders at the Global Fintech Fest (#GFF2025).
Payments, Vehicle & Dealer financing models are now an integral part of Vaayu’s EV Fleet Management stack.

While we’ve filed patent applications in our agentic stack, I keep repeating this: AI is an enabler.
Real innovation happens at the client’s end — in how they use it, the problems they face daily, and how together we layer AI to create tangible outcomes.
The pace of business model evolution & adoption of tech is so fast at ground that we can export it to ret of the world.

Why This Market Matters
We’re working with fleet operators, EV rental providers, OEMs and other mobility players — and most of them are sitting on goldmines.
- EV rental alone is a $6 billion+ market (Frost & Sullivan, NITI Aayog estimates)
- 22–30 million gig workers in India, of which 7–10 million are delivery workers (NITI Aayog Gig Economy Report 2022)
- For banks, NBFCs and investors, this segment represents a high-velocity, asset-backed lending & payments opportunity
Imagine an OEM or fleet operator running 1,000–50,000 EVs in rental.
The upside is massive — but it’s not going to be easy.
Brutal Competition Ahead
Some of our clients today manage 50–1,000 fleets. On the other end, funded startups like Zypp Electric reportedly operate 45,000+ EVs and are targeting 100,000+. Zomato and Flipkart may not stay on the sidelines either.
More players = thinner margins.
Survival will come down to two things: scale and capital discipline.
Before adopting Vaayu, several operators struggled with payment collection, customer request backlogs, and fragmented tech stacks. The players who thrive will be the ones with tech that scales operations efficiently, and either raise enough capital or run profitably.

- In this race, capital + tech = decisive advantage
As I often say: A person with six-pack abs won’t win if the other side has a gun.
In this market, tech is the gun.
Patent + Innovation + Positioning = Differentiation
We’ve always believed our role is to build rare and valuable things.
It must impact people, planet, and societal progress. Wealth is then the natural by-product.
Our patent-backed agentic stack, FOCO model, and EV-fintech integrations aren’t gimmicks. They’re growth engines for our clients.
And while we build the innovation, our clients are the real warriors.
In the EV category at HDFC Pitch, focused on finance and sales, we may well have been the only startup in the room.
Global Potential – Faster innovation
I also spoke to some of my potential clients in Africa & my friends in Canada about the export potential from India.
My talks at GFF also included some conversation with Stripe, VCs & African delegates. All combined my thesis was that in certain parts – Vaayu & India have unfair advantage – which is AI X Finance x Quick Commerce x EV Rentals.
Thus the pace of innovation in pockets is faster in India. For Vaayu & it’s partners means not playing catchup games rather writing script of our own monopoly. If not definitive script, yet a potential worth chase.
